Here’s some of my designs from Gravity Falls : “Legend of the Gobblewonker”. This was the first episode we made. Designing the “Gobblewonker” was challenging because it had to establish how we would treat monster designs throughout the series. This design went through many variations. The first incidental characters I designed for the series were of Creative Director Phil Rynda, Art Director Ian Worrel and BG Designer Sean Jimenez. Some of you may recognize Phil’s face from Adventure Time fame. I wanted to see if any of the AT fans would pick up on it.
